PAL at Chehalem Elementary 2018-2019
Beaverton PAL is a youth enrichment program which has been a part of the Beaverton community for almost 20 years and is a local chapter of National PAL. The origins of PAL date back to 1915 and have been a stepping stone for influencers such as Muhammad Ali and Alisha Keys in addition to thousands of other amazing people who have grown to become positive and active members of our nation’s communities. At our roots, PAL is a mentorship program. Our local focus for elementary students is Respect, Learn, and Play through healthy social interactions.
We are focused on youth development activities which help gain skills and proficiency. We accomplish this through activities and education. As an afterschool provider at a STEM focused elementary school we have planned activities which include but are not limited to physical activities, science, reading, art & crafts, and technology.
