Jeremy Vanroyce – Executive Director

Jeremy first learned about PAL while catering a Beaverton Chamber of Commerce Coffee Connection, which inspired him to join the Board of Directors.  As a business owner (Murray’s Coffee Bar) and resident of central Beaverton, he recognized the importance of after-school programs and jumped at the chance to join the PAL team as Executive Director.  His business background lends itself perfectly to running a non-profit organization.

Jeremy has a BS in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma and an MBA from Oklahoma Christian University.  He enjoys spending time with his wife and being active, participating in events like the Cascade Lakes Relay.

Fenuinui Bruce Leomiti – Mentoring Program Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator

Bruce graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelors of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice.  He was first introduced to the PAL program as a youth, while playing for Marshall’s PAL youth football team.  He was reintroduced to PAL through his PSU senior internship with Cathy Sherick at the Four Cities Peer Court and was hired as a team member in 2009.

Bruce enjoys working at PAL because every day is different and challenging.  He enjoys working with youth and appreciates that they teach him as much as he teaches them.  His favorite thing about PAL is teaching the kids the benefits of discipline and hard work.  Many of our youth haven’t previously experienced that mentality, so seeing youth set goals and achieve them is particularly rewarding for Bruce.
